Product scope 

• Group B streptococcus (GBS, also known as Streptococcus agalactiae): Type antisera Ia–IX for Neufeld (capsular reaction) and Lancefield testing and ImmuLex™ Strep‑B latex kit for rapid agglutination. 
• Streptococcus suis: Type antisera (selected serotypes) for Neufeld (capsular reaction) and Lancefield testing. 

Methods and use 

Our portfolio supports established serological methods: 

• Lancefield test (precipitin in capillary tube) for group confirmation and serotyping. 
• Latex agglutination (ImmuLex™) for rapid results. 
• Neufeld (capsular reaction / Quellung) for capsule‑expressing streptococci (e.g., S. suis and Group B Streptococcus).
