About us
SSI Diagnostica Group is a global company with 600 employees, specializing in infectious disease diagnostics. We focus on gastrointestinal, respiratory, and bloodborne diseases, working every day to ensure better treatment outcomes through accurate and fast patient diagnostics.
Our portfolio ranges from products used in microbiology laboratories to identify the exact bacteria requiring treatment, to rapid diagnostic tests such as those widely recognized from the COVID-19 pandemic, and to highly specific sera used by vaccine companies to ensure the quality of their vaccines.
SSI Diagnostica Group has scientific roots dating back to the early 1900s at the renowned Statens Serum Institut. Today, we employ staff and operate offices in Denmark, the United States, and China, ensuring proximity to our customers and patients across all continents. Each year, we deliver diagnostic solutions in more than 130 countries, helping over 60 million people receive the right diagnosis and, ultimately, the right treatment as quickly as possible.

Being private equity owned, we have invested heavily in recent international expansion and innovation and continue to focus on purposeful growth – with the patient and customer at the center of every move.
Since 2016, we have grown from 80 employees to close to 600 in 2025.
